The William S. Richardson School of Law, located in Mānoa Valley, Honolulu, Hawai'i, is the only ABA-accredited law school in the State of Hawai'i.  WSRSL Professor Mark Levin has worked in international and comparative tobacco control policy for over twelve years, with research focused primarily on Japan.



The Center for Tobacco Regulation provides legal support to community groups, local governments, and State legislators and agencies interested in reducing the negative health consequences of tobacco use.  Center staff draft legislation, provide technical and legal support for that legislation and assist in implementing tobacco control policies and laws.



The Tobacco Control Legal Consortium is a national network of legal centers providing legal technical assistance to public officials, health professionals and advocates in addressing legal issues related to tobacco and health and supporting public policies that will reduce the harm caused by tobacco use in the United States.



The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nonprofit public health organization with over 2.3 million volunteers throughout the United States, including over 50,000 physicians.  ACS is committed to one goal: the control and elimination of cancer through research, education, advocacy and service.  ACS research since the 1950s has played a pivotal role in identifying the use of tobacco products as the most preventable cause of cancer.
