Author

The Author search performs a match on the entry field to the publication Author field in the database.

Title

The Title search performs a match on the entry field to the publication title field in the database.

Global

The Global search performs a match on the publication data fields title, author, authors' last names, publication type, and citation, it also performs a search on all of the category key words and explanations.

Advanced Search

The Advanced search performs a match on the publication based on indicated date range, publictaion type(s), and related categories.

Sorting buttons for ascending and descending sort exist next to the column headings. Initial searches are sorted in ascending order by Title. Titles beginning with punctuation will be displayed before those starting with 'A'. Sorting by Category performs a sort by Title.
